A modified Titius-Bode law has been derived for planetary orbits in the solar system. Some consequences of this power law are examined: the law introduces two missing planets between Mars and Jupiter (i.e., the asteroid belt) and a missing planet between Saturn and Uranus just where Chiron has been discovered and where a new asteroid belt has been conjectured to exist.
