Space Solar Power System. While, Institute for Unmanned Space Experiment Free Flyer (USEF) organized a committee under METI and has started two year (FY 2001 and 2002) study of the operational SSPS for the terrestrial power usage and the feasibility study of the demonstration system which will start its development from the year of 2003. The brief explanation of the study on going two year is presented at the symposium.
