The effective collision strengths are presented in this table for all transitions among the lowest 37 fine-structure levels belonging to the 2s(2)2p(4), 2s2p(5), 2p(6), 2s(2)2p(3)3s and 2s(2)2p(3)3pl configurations of Mg V.
These have been calculated using the Breit-Pauli R-matrix method. Each fine-structure level is assigned an index number in Table 6 of the manuscript ranging from 1 to 37. These index values are used here in Table 8 to refer to particular transitions, eg. Index 1-3 denotes the transition 2s(2)2p(4)3PE(J=2) -- 2s(2)2p(4)3PE(J=0).
The effective collision strengths for each transition are presented in rows for a number of electron temperatures ranging from log10(T)=3.0 to log10(T)=7.0 in steps of 0.1dex.
