FGS 2 will be replaced during Servicing Mission 3a. The unit will be
reconditioned on the ground to provide FGS 3R during the fourth
Servicing Mission. These observations will pprovide a baseline for the
ground system tests and refiurnishment. It will also support assessment
of the FGS optical train alignment in zero G.
