Equations of motion for a system of matter in quasi-Newtonian motion are derived expressing the energy dissipated as a consequence of gravitational radiation. The equations are derived from those for a medium consisting of a perfect fluid for the case of two extended bodies consisting of perfect fluid with radii much smaller than the distance separating them.
