We investigate the prospects for the discovery at the CERN Large Hadron Collider (LHC) of a neutral Higgs boson (ϕ0) produced with one bottom quark followed by the Higgs decay into a pair of muons within the framework of the minimal supersymmetric standard model. This discovery channel including one bottom quark with a large transverse momentum greatly improves the discovery potential beyond the reach of not only the associated channel with two energetic bottom quarks pp -> bbar {b} φ 0 -> bbar {b}μ + μ - + X but also the inclusive channel pp → ϕ0 → μ+ μ- + X.
