The open star clusters M36, M38 and NGC 2477 were investigated by the strip method on charts of photographs taken with the Schmidt-Spiegel telescope of the German Observatory Hoher List for the first two clusters, and with the Curtis-Schmidt telescope of the Cerro Tololo Interamerican Observatory for the last cluster. Results showed solar masses of 830, 2350 and 4400 respectively as well as radii, and central density measurements.
