Atmospherics from several storms have been recorded simultaneously at a number of frequencies from 6 kc/s to 450 Mc/s and the amplitudes and total energies determined as a function of frequency. The amplitude spectrum deduced from all the data shows an inverse linear relationship with frequency from about 10 kc/s upwards. The ranges of amplitudes from one storm and the differences between one storm and another have been examined.
