In these lecture notes, we give an overview about non-local field-theories
and their application to polymerized membranes, i.e. membranes with a fixed
internal connectivity. The main technical tool is the multi-local operator
product expansion (MOPE), generalizing ideas from local field theories to the
multi-local situation.
