We show that the dependence of the Kondo temperature of a strongly blockaded
quantum dot differs significantly from that in the single-level Anderson
impurity model. The difference is more pronounced when the gate voltage
approaches the mixed-valence regions, where the Kondo temperature is
dramatically enhanced.
