We derive exact Ward Identities in the Two-Coupled-Chains Model in the
presence of a momentum cutoff, with an extra correction term generated by the
breaking of local symmetries. Such term is non vanishing in 1-loop order in the
infinite bandwidth limit and this indicates the presence of a quantum anomaly.
