Astronomers working with the Hubble Space Telescope have a new method of estimating the dark matter contribution to galaxies, from a group of objects unaffected by galaxy collisions all around.
Technology developed to make the most of images collected by NASA's Mars rovers was used to produce a striking image of the crowd at President Obama's inauguration.
