A proposal by Farhi that the wave function of the universe be defined as a path integral over Minkowski signature metrics is investigated in minisuperspace. We find that the wave function is not exponentially peaked at small values of the cosmological constant, in contrast to several recent claims. We also note that this definition of the wave function is consistent with Hartle-Hawking boundary conditions, but inconsistent with Vilenkin's tunneling boundary condition.
