The equations of motion of a two-rotor gyroscopic system are derived for the case where the center of the system's suspension travels along a geocentric sphere and the system is situated in a central Newtonian force field. The sufficient stability conditions are obtained for a space-borne vertical gyroscope. Calculations are carried out with allowance for the moments of inertia of all the elements of the gyroscopic system.
