I present an overview of the close relationship which convection and
stellar pulsation share. This includes the driving, damping, and
modulation of oscillations in stars such as the Sun, other solar-type
stars, the ``classical'' pulsators (e.g., Cepheids, RR Lyrae), as well
as more recent results from the realm of pulsating white dwarf stars.
