A method is suggested for determining radiative heat-transfer coefficients in the case of interaction of a body with the hypersonic flow of a rarefied gas using the data of two-station photographic fireball observations. The method allows to estimate with confidence the degree of dependence of radiative heat-transfer coefficients on the velocity and density of a gas flow and characteristic size of a body. Essential differences are found between the values of radiative heat-transfer coefficients obtained from observations and from calculations for the radiative-convective interaction model in the continuous-flow regime for the single-body sample of Prairie network fireballs with velocities under 15 km/s.
