Results of photometric (U, B, V, R) observations of 37 stars in the region of the open cluster Dol 42 are given. Using the spectroscopic and photometric data 10 stars were selected as probable members of the cluster. The distance to the cluster is 930 pc and its age is about 106yr. The variable star V478 Cyg is located beyond the cluster and is a member of Cyg OB1 association.
