Plasma confinement in the trapped particle region of the Saturn tri-toroidal stellarator is studied taking account of the variations of magnetic mirror parameters. It is shown that plasma loss cannot be described by formulas of the neoclassical theory of stellarators. In the Saturn stellarator, there appears a characteristic dependence of the plasma diffusion coefficient on the magnetic field strength and the angle of rotary transformation at a specified range of values of the effective collisional frequency.
