Scientific paper

We propose to observe 4 AGN with candidate intermediate mass black holes. Our targets have been selected by Greene and Ho (2004) from the Sloan Digital Sky Survey and have all previous X-ray detections by ROSAT. We will study the X-ray variability and spectra of this most interesting class of black holes with the aim of clarifying their nature.
