The statistical mechanics of a two-dimensional gas of neutral and charged dilaton black holes is addressed. We have found that under a critical temperature both the microcanonical ensemble and the canonical ensemble can be used to describe the thermodynamical properties of this gas. The heat capacity of this gas is positive. The phase transition has also been discussed.
