We propose a snapshot survey and one longer observation of four transient-recurrent binary supersoft X-ray sources in the Magellanic Clouds, to monitor their X-ray light curves. The Magellanic Clouds are chosen because of the low interstellar absorption, and the known distance allows deriving the white dwarf mass from the effective gravity, a parameter of the atmospheric models. We will measure the long term variability time scale, to understand the physical mechanism causing it and link the observed time scales to the physical parameters of the system. We also plan TOO follow-up observations.
