The prompt cosmic-ray muon flux at high energies is calculated by using
a more realistic model of inclusive charm production and recent
experimental results on primary spectrum in which a 'knee' is taken into
account. The critical energy is estimated to be 220 TeV and 1200 TeV at
the zenith angle 0 deg and 90 deg, respectively.
