We review the theory of stationary, axisymmetric spacetimes with black
holes surrounded by a massive torus and present a numerical scheme for
finding self-consistent solutions in a compactified grid that reaches to
spatial infinity. Such numerical solutions have been utilized in
studying nonaxisymmetric dynamical instabilities occurring in the torus.
