The photoresistive response of granular YBCO films on MgO has been
monitored, and bolometric response times of a few 10 exp -8 s in the
range 8-60 K have been obtained. At lower temperatures, the system
behaves as if the electrons gradually decouple from the lattice. A
two-temperature hypothesis qualitatively accounts for the observations.
