Long-Period Comets: Orbit Theory

Scientific paper

The authors show that the Tisserand constants C for the comets that come
from the solar apex region are virtually equal to the actual values of C
for the existing comets differentiated in planetary families. The
constant is found to depend on the place where the comet is captured by
a planet.
