Geomagnetic Field: Reversals
Scientific paper
Some aspects of the use of spectrum analysis in the investigation of the
time series of geomagnetic reversals within the recent superchron of
mixed polarity are considered. The hypothesis of a random distribution
of reversals is analyzed, taking into account the nonstationary nature
of the geomagnetic field reversal process.
