Dominant features in the central region of our galaxy are reviewed. These are a dense stellar cluster containing about 10 to the tenth power million stars and a rapidly rotating nuclear disk. Extended nonthermal synchrotron radiation and infrared radiation come from a region which coincides approximately with the central stellar cluster. The central source consists of an extended H 11 region. A supermassive star, which may form the nucleus of our galaxy, could also be the source of ionization for the inner part of the nuclear disk.
