Relative age spread among globular cluster provides information on the early evolution of the galaxy. Luminosities and temperatures are measured at and below the main sequence turn-off points in the cluster high resolution diagrams, cluster distances, helium and metal abundances of their member stars and theoretical evolutionary tracks, and observations of Lyrae variables.
