The paper presents an analysis of Doppler-shift records of ionospheric signals obtained at spaced locations in the vicinity of Alma-Ata during 1986-1987. It is shown that the coherent parts of the Doppler-shift oscillations are trains of wave disturbances in the F-region. A correlation between the duration of a train and its central frequency is established.
