A new algebraic Bethe ansatz scheme is proposed to diagonalise classes of
integrable models relevant to the description of Bose-Einstein condensates in
dilute alkali gases. This is achieved by introducing the notion of Z-graded
representations of the Yang-Baxter algebra.
