An interactive procedure for solving an approach problem with N asteroids of the main belt is considered for an earth-Mars transfer trajectory with flyby of selected asteroids. The asteroid approach is realized using jet impulses with a total loss of characteristic velocity w. A solution is obtained to the problem of selecting the asteroids and the program of impulses minimizing w. A simplex algorithm of optimal linear impulse correction is used for the minimization of w.
