The results of a statistical analysis of data on the solar-wind parameters and the ΣKp indices of magnetic activity under conditions of extended increases of the solar-wind density against the background of a constant or decreasing velocity are given. It is shown that predominantly a low level of magnetic activity corresponds to such situations in the solar wind.
