The Skylab space station offered a unique opportunity for man-in-space to study Earth's upper atmosphere from an average 435 km altitude. Experiment S063 made use of 35 mm cameras equipped with various narrow-band filters in the visible and middle ultraviolet spectral range to photograph airglow, aurora and daytime ozone concentrations. Comet Kohoutek was also photographed through various lenses and filters. The present report details the experiment and data deposited at the National Space Science Data Center for use by any scientist who might wish to use the data in further studies.
