The dissipation of the energy of the forced oscillations stipulated by convective motions at the Sun, in the local cusp-resonance regions in the high Beta chromosphere plasma is considered. If the Alfven velocity has the extremum in the resonance point the width of the resonance region and the power absorption increase. Conditions when the nonlinear effects become essential and may lead to the forming of the nonlinear (discontinuous) flows in the cusp-layer are obtained.
