This work is a simulation of a white dwarf undergoing Accretion-Induced Collapse (AIC) to the formation and development of a neutrino-driven wind. We use a new radiation hydrodynamics code known as RadHyd, a merger of EVH-1 and MGFLD. The EVH-1 code is a PPM Godunov equation-solver, while MGFLD is a multi-group, flux-limited diffusion radiation scheme. Using a white dwarf model of Nomoto, the collapse is iniated by electron capture on Ne-20 and Mg-24; the shockwave is revived by depositing energy between the shock and the gain radius over a period of 50 ms. The compact structure allows a supersonic wind to develop. The model is evolved using Newtonian gravity and two sets of neutrino reaction rates; the first set being the standard Bruenn 85, while the second contains neutrino-nucleon elastic scattering with nucleon recoil and blocking and nucleon brehmsstralung scattering. The two sets of rates are evolved with two different explosion energies. We discuss the evolution of the model and examine the properties of the neutrino-driven wind.
