A vision on future geophysical missions to Mars will be studied with particular focus on furthering our understanding of the interior, rotation and orientation of this terrestrial planet. The radio link budgets are shown to be correct and the instrument design/breadboard is shortly presented. The possibilities to study Mars rotation and orientation with such instrument are shown. We further explain the importance of these observations for the understanding the interior of Mars and therewith its habitability. Particular emphasize on some interior parameters such as the core dimension and the core light element concentration will be shown. The dynamic processes, e.g. internal dynamo, magnetic field, atmosphere, plate tectonics, mantle convection, volcanism, thermo-tectonic evolution, meteorite impacts, and erosion, modify the planetary surface, the possibility to have liquid water, the thermal state, the energy budget and the availability of nutrients. They thus play a role in the persistence of life on a planet.
