Solar Corona: Temperatures

Scientific paper

During October-December, 1983, the spectrograms of the coronal lines λ5303 Å and λ6374 Å have been obtained at the 20-cm coronograph. The instrumental profile of the spectrograph was ≍0.4 Å. Influence of the height and the latitude on the intensity ratio of these lines was investigated. Using this investigation and some assumptions it was established that hot matter-cold matter ratio increased with height. The value of this ratio was 2.5 - 4.0 with the height intervals 33 - 97″and the latitude intervals 5°N - 20°S.
