Radio fluctuations of the quiet sun and of Taurus A have been observed concurrently at several frequencies in the range 19.5-25.5 MHz. Power-spectrum analysis reveals various quasi-periodic components in the solar radio emission, with periods of 4-30 min. Comparison with the Tau A radio spectrum serves to exclude ionospheric effects and indicates that the components found with periods longer than 10 min are of solar origin.
