Results of measurements of the energy spectra of medium and heavy nuclei in the primary cosmic rays are reported, covering the energy range 10 to the 12th - 10 to the 14th eV. The results were obtained in a series of Cosmos satellite experiments using the Sokol payload. The spectra of individual nucleus groups are compared with the total spectrum shape, and the possibility of separating the charges of the most representative nuclei by elements in the Z range 6-14 is discussed.
