We propose to photometrically monitor all supernovae (SNe) discovered by the Mount Stromlo Abell Cluster SN Search during the first semester of 1999, and calibrate all the search fields in which we have discovered SNe. These observations, combined with data from Australia, will provide the well sampled, calibrated SN lightcurves required to fulfill the aims of our project: (1) to measure the bulk peculiar motion of the Abell clusters with respect to the Local Group; (2) to constrain systematic effects of using SNe Ia as distance indicators; and (3) to measure SN rates both in clusters and in the field.
