We calculate the probability for the emission of a pair of photinos by an electron moving in a background electromagnetic field. The rate of the process e -> eγ~γ~ is estimated at different values of the field strength and electron energies. Comparing the cooling rate of some astrophysical objects via photino bremsstrahlung with another competing energy-loss mechanism we find new constraints on the selectron massesMe~R =Me~L >= 89.4 GeV.
