Geomagnetic Field, Palaeointensity, Reversal Frequency
Scientific paper
It has been predicted that during long periods when the Earth's magnetic
field is of a single polarity the field should be stronger. We have
carried out palaeointensity experiments on rock samples from periods of
high, medium and low reversal frequency and can find no evidence to
support the above prediction.
