An all-sky survey performed by the Tibet ASγ Collaboration has found a number of potential TeV gamma ray sources. We selected 4 of the most promising candidates and observed each one for 5 hours with the Whipple air Cherenkov telescope. Because of positional uncertainty in the Tibet data, 2-dimensional analysis is required. We discuss a method to look for off-axis sources out to a radius of 1 degree. The efficiency of the method is tested by analyzing the Crab Nebula at various offsets. We also present some preliminary results.
