The Contemporary Physics Education Project has just completed the fieldtest version of their fourth chart. The chart, entitled "The History and Fate of the Universe," will appear in the March issue of The Physics Teacher magazine. Previous charts were on particle physics, plasma physics, and nuclear physics. In addition, to presenting the new chart, other educational programs related to CPEP will be discussed, such as the Particle Adventure. This summer a new website, called the Universe Adventure, will be developed to complement the new chart. More than 200,000 copies of CPEP charts have been distributed to high schools and colleges. The Particle Adventure website gets five million hits a year. CPEP is a nonprofit group that also produces text materials, CDROMs, and hands-on activities, as well as holding many workshops for teachers.
