Studies undertaken in regard to solar neutrons are reviewed. Experiments to detect and estimate solar neutron streams are described, and it is shown that after significant solar flares, which are associated with proton acceleration, streams of solar neutrons may appear near earth. Indirect evidence for the formation of solar neutrons, obtained by the OSO-7 satellite, is cited. Ways are suggested to obtain definitive evidence for such neutrons.
