We present results of galaxy model fitting using high spatial resolution adaptive optics images obtained at Lick and Keck observatories from a sample of 20 radio-selected Ultraluminous Infrared Galaxies (ULIGs) and Luminous Infrared Galaxies (LIGs). The galaxies were modeled using a χ2 fitting procedure with a Sersic model. After subtraction of the model interesting residuals can be seen. Regions of star formation, dust lanes, bars and debris from mergers are noted in the residuals. The results show that many of the LIGs have exponential profiles indicating they may be disk galaxies. Two of the three ULIGs appear to be bulge dominated. A significant portion of the objects are mergers of two disk dominated galaxies ranging from early to late stages. Five superwind-shock dominated LINER LIGs were modeled in the sample - a population of objects that is poorly understood. We discuss possible correlations and trends in the morphology, spectral type, and infrared and radio luminosity of these objects.
