We report on our progress towards continuum rate equation modeling, as well
as numerical simulations, of self-healing of fatigue in composites reinforced
with glue carrying nanoporous fibers. We conclude that with the proper choice
of the material parameters, effects of fatigue can be partially overcome and
degradation of mechanical properties can be delayed.
