In the present work, the reflection of a plane shock wave is studied in
order to achieve a high pressure and temperature state by a reflected
shock wave. The plane geometry is considered and the one-dimensional,
time-dependent system of hyberbolic equations is solved by Rusanov's
(1961) method.
