A [60-100] vs. [100-170] two colours diagram of Young Stellar Objects (YSO) is discussed. Colours have been derived from ISO-LWS spectra exploiting the full wavelength range of the instrument. A segregation effect is clearly present relating the colours to the age of the sources. Colour temperature derived runs from ~ 25 K for Class 0 objects to as high as 90 K for more evolved sources like Herbig Ae/Be stars. This diagram offers a powerful tool to identify the evolutionary status of unclassified sources once their colours are known.
