Unsteady processes in the solar wind are studied on the basis of a kinetic description of the plasma in the collisionless neutral-gas approximation. The boundary value problem is solved and the ion distribution function is determined for spherically symmetric disturbances. Density, velocity, and temperature disturbances are analyzed; and the heat flux transferred by ions is studied.
